There is some evidence associating light drinking with improved overall health in some adults. Between one and three drinks daily have been found to help protect us from heart disease, dementia, and Alzheimer's Disease, and a small glass of red wine daily may decrease risk of stroke in women.
That being said there is much more proof indicating that drinking too much alcohol results in severe bodily and emotional disorders.
